If there’s one thing I learned about you from my recent podcast listener survey it is this: you love practical episodes to help you find balance.
If there are TWO things I learned, I’d add this: You are struggling to get stuff done.
So, today and next week (and maybe even beyond next week?) we’re going there. We’re getting personal and practical, beginning with five reasons you don’t get stuff done.
What we discuss this week:
Life is not about productivity
And yet…we still need to get stuff done!
You must understand WHY you don’t get stuff done before you can address HOW to get stuff done.
5 reasons you don’t get stuff done
One of the five reasons you don’t get stuff done is you’re too busy. Is this news to you?
In the more than two decades I’ve worked with overwhelmed moms, I have identified eight different busyness types.
I created a quiz that will help you identify which one resembles you and your busyness issue. You may not have a busyness issue at all, and this quiz will reveal that, too.
But if being overly busy is a problem for you, this quiz will help you identify what kind of busy person you are and offer a tangible first step to break your busyness cycle.
Take this short 7-question quiz and then POST YOUR RESULTS IN THE COMMENTS! Let’s chat about this!
Q4U: What is YOUR busyness personality?
I can’t wait to find out. :)

I got well balanced. What?!?! Guess the whole midlife crisis/chrysalis/pandemic has done me some good, haha. Like Kelly, though, Jenga happens. I think that's just life. We're doing better - Go, Us!
I got the defender. Makes sense, as we have 3 kids 4yo and under. I've been working on accepting help, but finding it tricky when there are lots of open-ended offers "let us know if we can help with anything!".
